Travelguru seems to be one of the few sites which allow true online booking. I had tried booking through web interface of kingfisher earlier and it had not worked. So I had to resort to phone booking with their customer care department. Some others I know, phone you back so they are really not an online system. Travelguru.com has a very user-freindly interface and business content that makes it an efficient booking system for avid Indian traveller.
Travelguru is replete with packages from both airlines and hotels. I have had no difficulty registering and searching for packages. I am not surprised as it has many alliances with the biggies in the travel and tourism industry.
The welcome change I noticed with this site was that the initial tarrifs shown at first and charged finally at check-out are the same. So no footprints or last minute surprises here. What you see is what you get.
Somehow I feel the look and feel of the site is common, bu that may be due to standard business requirements of that industry.
This newbie on the block is worth the try.
