PACKAGE NAME: KERALA SPECIAL
DURATION: 4 DAYS/ 5 NITES
LOCATIONS: COCHIN -> MUNNAR -> PERIYAR -> ALLEPPEY -> KUMAROKAM -> COCHIN
DATES: 28 MAR 2011 – 2 APR 2011
This is to give all readers my experience with Travelguru. When I was buying the package one MR DHAVAL Patel, told me that travelguru knows best about hotels and knows what is best for you. He promised Hotels with swimming pools, Jacuzzi, and what not, . So, I went ahead and bought a kerala package. 4 days / 5 nites of unfulfilled promises.
Day 1: Nobody from Travelguru contacted me. I was not sure till I landed at the cochin airport that somebody is waiting. Because our flight got late, no cochin see around. Started driving 4 hrs to munnar. Got tired after 4 hrs drive.
Day 2: Driver came and stood at hotel lobby. Started driving to periyar at 9 AM> Reached periyar at 1: 30 PM. Came to know that the periyar sanctuary was closed at 1:30 PM/ . No sanctuary or wild life or periyar lake boating/. Stuck at hotel.
Day 3: Started driving to alleppey- 2.5 hrs. Again tired. Reached cozy houseboats. It was crewed with 5 village taporis. No hospitality. Shirtless staff to attend you. Very kammeena expressions on their faces all the time and no courtesy. Dirtiest kitchen. My wife fell sick on the night we spent there. The guys took money spent for petrol when we went to buy the required tablets. Shittiest houseboat you can get on.
As per my package I was supposed to board the boat at aleeppey and get down after overnight and cruise to kumarokam. The houseboat guy said no we will be in alleppey only and you have to get down there only. I called up travelguru and they said they are co-ordinating and what not. Nuthing happened.They promised me re0imburse ment . After a week they said I don’t deserve a refund and at the max I can give a bad review on houseboat on travel guru . I said no thank you.
Day 5: Hardly any sightseeing in cochin.
Very sick travel company travel guru.
! DON’T BUY PACKAGES FROM TRAVELGURU! Go for someone else like Ezeego1. I don’t work for ezeego1 but I have experienced their service and let me tell you that it will be much better than travelguru.
