So I am back after a long lay-off, though I was here with my comments and ratings havent written a review since a long time and here it comes...So lets start
Transporter 2
The best in the business is back in the game

The Plot
Ex mercenary Frank who specializes in transporting goods from one place to another without asking questions and hard and stringent on his rules shifts his base to US, but not as the transporter and working as a chauffer for Jack. He still follows his rules rigourously and has a good aquaintance with Jack who trusts him a lot. Mr Billings' is too busy to spend time with his family and this enhances the importance of Frank. Audrey is also very much interested in Frank but Frank keeps his distance from her. But now enters Gianni who wants to be rich and pretty soon I must say, he wants to kidnap Jack and infect him with some sort of virus or something that might spread to his dad and then from him to a lot of world leaders which will then need the antedote which Gianni has. So come the action scenes and the whatever the movie was supposed to be made for. The kidnapping of the guy, he being infected with virus and then frank getting the antedote but not too early and everybody getting infected and then finally again our superhero getting the bad guy and the troop. Not a very convincing plot, I must say but this is not what you expect from transporter, do you ;-).
The Review
The movie starts on a very light node and seeing the superhero frank in a chauffer mode discourages a lot, but as it gains pace getting engrossed is the only word I have to describe. The action scenes are superbly done, and seems that a lot of brains went into this one. anybody who would have seen transporter will agree to the point that the action scenes were though looking more unbelievable but certainly much better executed than its prequel. Frank has been superb in his acting and perfectly executes his role in the movie. Though a lot more was expected from Amber Valletta and Matthew Modine. Gassman was cool in his performance, and the bitchy Kate...at her best I must say and add to that dressing to the occasion. Jason Flemyng was also good in his performance. The direction was also great and all the action scenes were cool...Though I did not liked the climax very much... did not have much juice in it... thought it should have been at least as exceiting as Transporter if not more. Also François Berléand did not have much of a role to play except for his cooking and helping friend scenes. should have had more presence. the movie is all about action and nothing more, so if you are an action buff take your popcorns and go and go again and go again...There are a few scenes that will leave you gasping for breath. Superb movie I must say...
The Verdict
A must go for anyaction buff. Dont think too much in the movie just watch and enjoi...

Some Goof Ups--
Outside the Doctor's office, Lola shoots a police car full of holes, yet in the next scene she drives up in it undamaged.
In the opening sequence, the female car thief's gun changes from black to silver
So thats the end of it...
