So I bought this product from snapdeal last year and as the product described it is tough and have a very good rubber casing and even if it drops it won't do the hard drive any harm and your data will be secure.
But what us the use of such a product that is useless from the inside? That's what happened with me there is no use if any kind of protection from the outside of a hard drive of its going to get corrupted and hard drive is also not a thing that falls to the ground more often and even if happens any hard drive services only the body breaking but the drive inside still safe so the safety is not an big issue.
The thing is the capability to store data and retain and keeping it and never getting it erased and the reason why most of us buy a hard drive to safe our data. I also bought this hard drive at 4200 rupees and it was good and giving writing speed of around 60mbps and was happy with it and kept using it for data storage and one day to my shock after a year of usage it was gone.
Every data I ever stored was gone as I was copying some files and in between it got stuck and after inserting it that data was not there and an error of corrupted hard drive.
The hard drive then was taken by me to service Centre they said its corrupted and will cost 3000 almost 80% of the original cost of the product and I was not happy with it. So obviously I couldn't repair it and its just sitting useless on my table and corrupted eating up all the data and leaving me with nothing and all my precious memories gone. Not recommended at all.
