I found Some really good offers in tradus.com and gave a try. I ordered couple of items Online from tradus.com in early Sep 2012 and I paid through a card. After a week they got delivered by two parcels one by one and I found one is defective and in other no of items are reduced.  Seeing this I was worried but understood the fact that it could happen sometimes So I searched for a Call center no and for my surprise I am not able to find any tradus.com customer care phone no in the site.


I saw a mail id and customer issue mailer page which I used to send a mail to them. There was no reply. And I send atleast 3 to 5 mails for the issue in a week and there was no reply at all. I was really Pis**d off I dont know what to do. I don't like the idea that I got cheated I tried to get some details and I added a mail id from ibibo group (I believe, This is their parent concern) And then I got a reply from them saying that go to courier office, you just return the product  to this address and send us the waybill no etc.


By this time I was really irritated, How can they ask me to do all these things at my expense for the mistake tradus did. I sent a harse mail to them saying that the reason for doing online shopping is to enjoy the comfort it gives. I didn't want to go for shopping so I did an online shopping. this is very simple to understand and I can not do the reverse process and bear the expense for the mistake tradus has done. Then they sent a mail saying that they will send their guy to take it back. I was fine with that though already 10 days gone. As told he came and took it back and initiated the goods reverse process.


I had taken the courier no and I sent a mail to them as asked but there was no response. And then the real problems started. After couple of days courier got delivered and there was no response. I got some contact numbers from ibibo and I some how able to get myself routed to tradus.com and there was no professional response. I don't really know what was happening and it went like 1 month by this time.


I was not really comfortable with the idea that I was cheated and I started getting irritated whenever I see an advertisement from them, I really wanted to get my money refunded back so I started searching if there is any online forum available for grievance. I found a site called https://akosha.com/ They told them self that they resolve e-commerce related disputes. I was just reluctant and with disbelief I added my query to their site. It happened after 50 days or ordering. Akosha sent me a mail saying that they sent a mail to tradus.com and waiting for reply. The very next day I got a mail from tradus.com that they are processing refund of money. They told this is a mistake from seller and they are processing the refund. Till now I was not sure whether it was because of akosha or just the timing was concurrent But akosha was atleast prompt in reply. Finally money got refunded after 10 days.


Now issues with tradus.They dont have a customer care number. If you are delivered the good product, it is good. Otherwise how do you contact them? They dont respond to customer care mail ids.


They change the status of the delivery to delivered just like that even without replying or any proper justification.


They don't keep any inventory in their stock They get an order and they forward it to the respective seller and they do the parcel.


Lessons learned - Check how effective is customer care before ordering. I found an online grievance forum called https://akosha.com/. Now atleast I won't feel cheated and I know if I have any issues where to atleast contact if customer care is not responding properly.


And now even if I see any good offers from tradus.com, I am sure I won't go for it!
