Before I share my experience I must say that I am not a savvy ecommerce shopper and tradeus is my 1st experience and I am happy. last week I saw a full page AD of tradeus and the offer was fantastic - 50% off on all top books. I have been wanting to buy that raghav behl book but was not finding time. I work for a bpo in noida and very long hrs - bpo life sucks... :( anyways that's a different story. So, though I had never shopped online but had heard lot of horror stories from my friends and colleagues so I was really apprehensive. the offer in the AD was very tempting and that made me look for more info about tradus and I landed up here on mouthshut.
The reviews were mixed and it again made me more confused but at least gave me confidence to try it out and if it doesn't work I was for sure going to come up here and put in my story. This is 8:00-8:15 in the morning, I am sifting through the paper, doing my Facebook, getting ready for work and also thinking about buying on tradeus. Somehow I convinced myself to go ahead and put in my card details. buying was simple, I got a email immediately confirming my order. things are okay so far.
Off to work; and when I am back around 7 in the evening to my utter surprise - a parcel from tradeus kept on the dinning table. As I open it and am chatting with my mother, I am elated to see the book -- nicely wrapped in a cardboard sheet inside tradeus pack... excellent - I am happy, and great experience. I dunno know since when I have been wanting to lay my hands on this book but no time and now, everyday along with Facebook I glance through tradues to check out new offers. and my next book is going to be white mughals or may be khushwant singh....
And yes - since I decided to write on mouthshut if tradeus would have troubled me, so I thought I should also put down my experience even though it is good just to be even. :)
