I went for booking zdi last october. Thought I will receive jan 2012. But on tracking them they said we will receive it only by march. But we thought why to hang with maruti and we will look for something else. What came to our mind immediately were polo and liva.
We went to the vw showroom to look at polo. The salesperson was particular about the quality of the built and he avoided to tell good things about the engine inspite of me telling that I hav booked swift zdi. Next we went to toyota and the salespersons response was too good. Unfortunately we didnt get a td vehicle on that sunday.
They promised to send home the next morning and we took a drive in a bumpy road.response was good from my wife and mother , they had scratched under the chasis of my friend's figo on that same road.
We booked a liva diesel (red) GD from harsha toyota chennai. Lucky that we got it in 4 days and got it delivered on 20 dec 2011 inspite of booking on 16th december 2011. My last few days experience with liva has been excellent.
The engine power is enormous and accelerator response is too good. No lag during acceleration and is linear. Brakes are also good and not embarrassing. Legroom is so nice and my mom loves it a lot. Looks of it in the exterior and ground clearance took the heart of my wife. My suggestion to those who read my review will be:
Car good value for money and you will get a sedan quality for price of hatchback.(stolen words!!). Boot space sufficient (250 ltrs) usable than swift zdi. Think over it.
