My review is based on the test drive of the vehicle. I got the chance to test drive Toyota Etios Liva, I can comment on the performance and the features of the car, the owners can throw light on the ownership of the car. The first impression is awesome, the car feels strong while you are on driver seat. You feel safe. I drove,
Plus:
1) Decent interiors, spacious inside. Easy sitting for 3 person on back row.
2) Storage glove box has good capacity, special feature of cooling is good for keeping drinking water bottles to get chilled water on drive.
3) Driving is comfortable, feels like driving a sedan.
4) Audio control is available on steering for the higher version.
5) Other features like tilting steering EPS, ABS and airbags are available. (I wish airbags, ABS to be standardized for all cars for safety, but cost is a constraint)
6) Body is strong and feels sturdy.
Minus:
1) The dash board quality does not look great, feels low on quality
2) The auto climate control feature is absent in the highest version of Liva is surprising.
3) The power feels compromised in Liva, I found it good on highway but city driving was not that great. The continuous stop and accelerate in traffic is jerky and not smooth.
The car is good for family for spacious long drive, but I think the highest version doesn’t offer much in terms of feature. You can think of buying a lower version of this car. Mileage as per the sales person will come to around 14km. I feel after 5000 km it will give around 13-14km, in city driving conditions. I drove the car in Chennai.
Overall, driving a Toyota badge will make you feel good.
