My daughter no longer works for Ford, but her husband works for Toyota. We can buy this car for half the 'blue book price', plus $100.00.
The Toyota Avensis Liftback Vermont, is a sedan. It is the most popular car in the World. The Company is base in Japan, but have factories in every Country they sell their cars in.

We took the Toyota Avensis Liftback Vermon for a test drive and we did like it. Despite the great price we haven't decided if will buy a new car yet.
This car has five doors, (the one in the back is used to fold back, the back seat to give you more room than a trunk/boot), automatic gears, windows, door locks, adjustable mirrors and 2 wipers on the front window and one on the back.
When the back seat is up, there is a canvas, that covers the spare tire, (and the emergency kit and tools that we would put in our self).
There are two vanity mirrors that are behind the sun visor. There are two bucket seats in the front, and you can seat 5 adults in the back.
Between the bucket seats is an arm rest, with a place to put extra things.
There are air bags in the front and back seats. They come out from the side, and not from the front, so they don't break your ribs if you are in an accident.
While my husband was driving the car, I took the manual out of the glove compartment and took a few notes, (because I don't know a lot about the technical things in a car).
It meets both the Canadian and United States standards, that each car must have to be sold in each Country.
The car has a 190 horse engine and you can't hear it when your driving in it.
This is a 5 speed car, with sixteen inch wheels. In the front the suspension is made to rubber and in the back it's made of coils. This is to help make your ride smoother when you go over a bumpy road.
The head light will shutdown, even though you forget to switch off the head lights, as soon as the engine is cut off and the doors are closed, the lights automatically shut off.
The lo-jack car alarm with keyless entry. It costs an additional $400. This is will track the car, if is stolen.
The backseat of the car folds back so that there is extra space in the trunk to haul large pieces of luggage.
The inside of the car is very roomy and is comfortable for 5 persons – 2 in the front and 3 at the back. The front seats swing back and can be used for sleeping comfortably, especially when you are travelling long distance and want to get a shuteye at the rest areas.
The gas tank capacity is about 12 gallons and a full tank comes for about 350 miles at a cost of about $22 (with the current gas prices which are at an all time high.)
It has a cruise control, that you can set, (when you are driving on the highway), so you won't get caught speeding.
There is a large range of colours to choose from, but if we but the car, we would buy it is silver, because I read that silver cars have less accidents, than any other colour. I would imagine they would shine at night.
.: From Past Experience:.
If you are financing the car find out what the interest rates are. How much the Insurance is going to cost you, and if you are in a collision, will they lend you a car, until yours has been repaired.
You can get your car tuned up for 5 years. Follow the maintenance schedule as outlined in the maintenance manual. Make sure you get a replacement car, (for free), when the garage is working on your car.
Have your oil changed every 3 months or 3000 miles.
We wash our car every week, our self, because there are so many birds, (that poop on it), a trees, (that drip sap on it).
We use our small Dirt Devil to clean the interior, once a month.
.:My Conclusion:.
If we decide to buy the car we will have to pay about $10,100.00, CAD., plus the extended warranty for about $500. The Company guarantees the car for 70,000 miles, or 5 years.
