The worst brewery and the worst beer I've ever had

I, unfortunately, went to this much hyped, famed brewery yesterday evening with 9 of my friends who are all decent foodies. None of us are the "just out of college, oblivious to the world" kinds. I ve visited many breweries in Gurgaon, abroad and know it when beer is well brewed and tastes good.

To begin with, the ambience is not all that great, however, it is acceptable. Upon entering, we were shown a round table with decent space for 5 people at most but were told that all 10 of us would need to "adjust".

This in spite of being a pre-reserved table and numbers. All the breweries that I have been to, thus far, offer "tasters" free of cost in shot glasses, however, at Toit it costs INR 150.00.

On top of this, they had only 3 flavors out of the 5 that they claim to brew and yet, INR 150.00 was fixed.

Talk about fleecing. The beer, wheat , fruit and Basmati were horrendous to say the least. There was no flavor of raisins in the so called fruit brew, Basmati was too tangy and wheat, the less said about it, the better. Then came the starters. Every @#$% chicken dish had the same sweet and sour barbecue sauce poured on top and this includes their famed chicken wings.

When we ordered the spiciest possible starter, it was uncooked chicken strips with raw red chilli powder on top. This signalled the end of our patience, or so, we thought. When one of us casually asked the waiter if this was the usual taste of food and beer here, the reply he got was: "Look at the crowd Sir, if it had been that bad, they wouldn't have come".

He was right, we will certainly NEVER go back to this overhyped, tasteless, arrogant place.
