My father gifted me a Titan watch when I was just 15 yrs old. That was 1991. At that time it was purchased for Rs. 750/-.
It is running till today. that is 2016. All is well. I have changed dial and belt recently as it got corroded due to ageing, but the machine is intact.
I would love to share my experience with you. While studying in the USA, I was on a trip to the Ocean City, Maryland, USA along with my friends. We were off for a nice swim in the sea. I forgot to remove my Titan Wristwatch.
I realized the same when I was neck deep into the sea and worried for my watch. But to my great surprise. not a single drop of water could enter the wristwatch despite of being inside the sea water for a long time. The same watch is running even today(2016). in absolutely fine condition. What else do you want as a proof of quality? Bingo!
