Dear friends, severel times I went Tiruchirappalli(tiruchi). In this connection I would like to share my own experience to all of you.
Tiruchirappalli is situated in Tamilnadu in the river side of Kaveri. Its the second capital of Tamilnadu. Historically tiruchirapalli is the ancient city. In the Chola Kings period Tiruchirappalli is capital of them.
Rock fort, Rock fort Ganesh temple, Srirangam Ranganathar temple are the important sightseeing places in Tiruchirapalli. Near Tiruchirapalli a place called as MOOKOMBU which is the big dam. It was built in Chola;s period, but still it stands. It shows our ancient culture.
According to Accomodation, Tiruchi is costly because its a city. Minimum charge rs.1500/- per day. Food items are good & excellent.
There is doubt about Safety. At any time you can go & stay there.
