In 2007, India saw one of the most important bike launch ever on India. There were chain e-mails, all auto blogs were filled with one and only news. All magazines carried out huge coverage, and rated it as the best bike ever made on Indian soil. The bike had many'FIRSTs' in India. It won all possible awards.
I am talking about PULSAR 220 DTS-Fi, the bike can now easily be termed as one of the most hyped bike in the world. The bike failed so miserably that it could not sell few dozens after one year of launch. All people who bought it suffered from plethora of issues and reliability problems. Bajaj somehow managed to sell defective bikes month after month but finally they could not as their dealers were having tough time sorting out moutain of issues.
Bajaj then came up with carbed version and launched as if'CARB' is'NEW TECHONOLGY' compared to'Fi', even I am one of the victim and now I realize how I fell prey to Bajaj's designs of selling bad bikes. I have suffered so many issues and from'Fan' I have turned into'Social worker'

SO FAR NO ENGINE OIL IS FOUND TO BE GOOD FOR A PULSAR, NO OIL ON EARTH MAKES THIS BIKE SMOOTH.
OVERALL POOR QUALITY/DESIGN AND VERY POOR SERVICE BACK-UP, PREMIUM CHARGES APPLY FOR DIRTY SERVICING.
SO THE HYPE WAVE IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN LIKE TSUMANI OF 10.0 ON RITCHER SCALE, BEWARE, DON'T GET CAUGHT BY THE HYPING MEDIA AND AUTO BLOGS AND SO CALLED EXPERTS, WHO WRITE ANYTHING to fool innocent people.
PLEASE DON'T TRUST INITIAL NEWS/REVIEWS AND GET BLOWN AWAY, WAIT FOR THE BIKES TO DO WELL ON ROAD AND ONLY THEN BUY IT.
BEING A VICTIM MYSELF I HAVE NO HOPES ON BAJAJ BIKES, THEY MADE ME SUFFER AND NO ONE HAS EVER CONTACTED ME SINCE I WROTE REVIEW HERE. BAJAJ IS HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY AND KNOWS HOW TO EMPTY ONE'S WALLET AND THEN FORGET YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN.
