Bajaj out of 100cc segment ?!

Rajiv Bajaj has announced the colorful Q2 profits and revenues on 18th October 2006, he has also announced that Bajaj plans to exit from 100cc segment altogether in 2 years from now. So the re-sale value of Bajaj 100cc bikes will take further beating. People who are looking at 100cc bikes from Bajaj be carefull. Think twice before investing in one, because if you want to sell it later, you may be offered with peanuts. Bajaj feels they get more profit by selling premium bikes as the margins are higher.Spares are not available for already flopped models of Bajaj, so you'll find it hard maintaining too. This if for information.

So 100cc bike hunters set  your eyes on CD Dawn, CD Delux, Yamaha Crux, TVS Star City, TVS Star, **and ofcourse if you have few more bucks go for world's best seller Splendor/ Splendor+/ Passion+ for long lasting happiness. If you are bored at 100cc power,  look at Suzuki HEAT(125cc) is available at less than Splendor's cost, and is right now'the best value for money' in 125cc segment.

Good Luck  & Happy Diwali

:)

shekhar
