Hero Motors lack customer care

I have been riding hero Honda motorcycles since 1999. As years pass I see hero loosing focus on customers.

Recently, I went to one service station I got my spark plug and oil changed at Sri Maruthi motors, Bangalore.

  1. The spares guy removes the cover of spark plug in front of me, I took the cover and I see the mrp as Rs.97/-

  2. My achiever bike when drained by drain hole will require 900 ml oil as replacement at the most 1000 ml. But when the crank case covers are removed it needs 1200 ml.

  3. It was ordinary drain w/o removing crank case covers, so 900-1000 ml needed, the mechanic apart from 900 ml added another 50-60 ml only which is enough.

  4. The bill came in spark plug was priced Rs.114/- and oil was charged for 1300 ml. The spares guy is refusing to even tell his name. No questions entertained. They charged Rs.90 extra over actual price.

  5. I complain via email to b'lore office, so far they are showing no interest and literally defending the bad elements. They came to hand over the money but they also questioned my complaint .

  6. I posted the complaint on Facebook immediately I was banned from posting posts, hero has no tolerance for customer complaints. And the b'lore office called up say that it is system problem, thanks for your feedback and he is shouting at top of his voice.

Hero has lost focus of loyal customers and it is even abusing. I hope top management of hero will address customers' complaint. I wrote to sudhakar jhadav, senior area service manager about the whole issue, he has not even bothered to reply my email. Mr. Suresh says it is systemic issue and will be sorted out "thanks for feedback" and is hurry to snap the call, earlier he refused to entertain my calls!

I promise to hero that I will sell my bike immediately and will never ever buy hero product as they lack basic courtesy and respect for customers.

I will never buy a hero, nor recommend anybody a hero product.

A hurt and loyal customer

Is the top management listening to customers?

I feel deeply hurt the way hero motors is treating a loyal customer, but bangalore hero office is not even bothered. I complained for hero's sake but they are suspecting me as a jerk.

Though proprietor of Sri Maruthi motors accepted mistake and was willing to refund difference money in a gentleman way, the millennium motors and hero Bangalore office is behaving badly and literally abusing me.

My cousins' 2005 unicorn ran 55, 000 kms on oem clutch plates, he replaced clutch plates in 2010, the clutch plates cost him Rs.920/-. Mine is 2006 achiever it has completed only 27, 000 kms, and clutch plates are almost gone. I find following details.today, the clutch plates for unicorn costs rs.1132/- . Achiever clutch plates costs rs. 1332/-

Conclusion: you pay more than Honda spares cost and get less than 1/2 life!

Similarly, unicorn chain lasts longer like 40k kms, achiever chain gets loosened and error of fixing is always there, I replaced at 20k kms,

Hero Moto Corp is cheating.
