In cities, crime against woman is overwhelmingly increasing everyday.
Women and girls,
like other citizens, must feel safe,
comfortable and legitimate participating in urban life so that they are able to assert their right to the city.
We too have responsibilities in creating a secure and supportive, safe atmosphere for woman.
Therefore, on behalf of Crime Prevention organisation( NGO) a Handbook been published on “ Woman & Home Safety “ with an aim to increase understanding and spread awareness on what makes women feel safe or unsafe in public spaces, useful safety tips on protecting
self in various environment and how their security could be improved and overcome danger.
Till date 25, 000 copies of the same has been freely distributed.
