Bus Service from Sahara Travels. Review on Tips on Traveling in Buses

Details:

I had literally bad experience while travelling to Shirdi from Hyderabad:

Forward Journey on 10-Dec-2011 / HYD to SHIRDI: Time notified by redbus.com (where I've registered and bought the ticket) was 5:30 pm; boarding point was at Paradise at SVR Travels;

I kept on in touch with the customer service ( 040-23297182/ 040-2298483/ 040-65138483/ 040-66745786); Bus came around 8:00 pm in the opposite direction!!! I ran across the road with the luggage dragging on in one hand! The driver response was clueless!

Waited for the assistant to comedown to check-in the luggage! The driver doesn't know the route! The bus reached Shirdi next day at 11:00 am! Very Poor Service!!

Return Journey on 12-Dec-2011 / SHIRDI to HYD: No clue on the Boarding point. ZERO response from the Customer Service ( 020-26612242/ 020-65279007); no one lifted the phone!! I wandered in the Shirdi temple main road for a stretch of about 3 Km to-and-forward from 6:30 pm till 8:30 pm.

I returned to temple, and at around 9:00 pm the bus passed by the temple, without stopping at the temple. I was at the side of the temple, while the bus passed in the opposite direction, hence could not stop it! Net result --? LOST the bus! Pathetic service!

Later I stayed back on the night, called up SVR Travels and booked the ticket for next day. I also checked out SVR Travels new "BOSE is BOSS Stay --> which is awesome --> around Rs 1200 per night".

I did not like the food at the restaurant, but that is very much native to the taste of the tongue, so no complains. They also have good shuttle service at no extra charge!
