People...Raj Travels is not as good as they advertise. Two issues. Read on...
1) Cancelation Problem: If you are not sure of your travel program or if at all you want to cancel or postpone the travel on Raj National Express, forget about your hefty money paid to these guys. They eat it up entirely.
Here is my sad Story.
I had booked 2 tickets from Bangalore to Hyderabad in the afternoon and on the same night I decided to cancel them. ( The reason behind this deed is I being a software engineer where life schedules are very uncertain ) I booked thru the website and so I decided to go thru the same route to cancel the tickets too. I retrieved my booking and pressed cancel button and to my utter shock it showed me that the amount to be deducted was Rs.500 ( Rs.250/- per ticket). Adding on to this terrible thing, when I confirmed the cancellation, I got a credit note for the remaining amount from the site telling me that I can use this credit on any Raj National Express for another one year period. What a convenience ? Isnt it ?
2) Unauthorized Passengers boarded in between: The night I had travelled there were few seats left in the bus. Probably some 15 or so. The bus driver and the conductor ( kind of )stopped the bus in the midnight at some place...may be at Anantpur(not sure) and got some guys boarded. In the adverstisement they say service ,dont they?
