How to tame the road rowadies- alias Auto drivers
Jun 15, 2010 01:45 PM 4400 Views

Anyone who had the misfortune of using an autorickshaw in bangalore, will sympathise with my comments. The auto drivers are rude, don't charge as per meters, don't want to go to ur destination& worst of all drive with scant respect for the norms of driving. I avoid auto as plague. Still have to encounter their rowdiness while driving. What troubles me most is the attitude of the traffic cops towards them. They seem to be in hand & glove with them or are rather scared about them.

Have you ever noticed how all the auto drivers will converge at a place even when there is any problem with the auto driver. The same is not done by the us commuters. We just carry on-thinking it's not our misfortune atleast. But I think the time has come when should unite against these rowadies. We pay ( more than required ) for the service. We have the full right in demanding our share of service. We need to act. I feel , there must be an SMS system, which an aggrieved customer can send to Trafic control room. On rcpt of 5 such instances against one auto, the licence should be confiscated. It's time for hard rules now.

Friends-- any other suggestions. Pls join the fight against this goondaraj.
