Club Mahindra fooling members in booking system

Club Mahindra thinks that members are fool and members have no other option but to abide by rules and regulations they have made.


They never allot rooms as per members’ choice in the first instance. Whenever a member wants to book a room in a particular resort they never give the clear availability position of that resort. To show transparency in availability position Club Mahindra’ has made a link called check availability position on its site for various resorts. But in most of the cases you will never be able to find availability in that resort for next 3 or more months.


So, you are left with no other option but to contact club mahindra’s representative through phone at their call centre for booking rooms in a resort of your choice.


Normally in first instance, call centre representative will suggest you a non popular resort in that season like in months of Jan/ Feb/ March/ July/ Aug/ Sept/ Oct/ Nov, they will suggest you destinations like Shimla, Binsar, Maussorie or Corbett andin months of May/ June they will either offer Goa or South India destinationswhere Monsoon has already started or Kumbhalgarh/Navalgarh(Raj.) where nobody will like to go due to very high temperature.


And in most of the cases he will manage to convince you to take holidays in the resort of his choice in non-season time when those resorts remain vacant or he will allot you the resort of your choice but dates of his choice.


Why? Why they don’t make the booking Procedure like Indian Railways where a person can book tickets up to 3 months in advance with complete transparent procedure.


Club Mahindra should adopt booking Procedure like Indian Railways where a member can make his bookings up to 3 months in advance as per their season i.e., Blue/White/Red/Purple.


But in this system how will Club Mahindra be in position to sell Rooms to non-members in summer or winter vacations and festive seasons. Also, rooms can be purchased by a non-member on cash basis just 7 days prior to his holidays whereas a member has to book his rooms’ months in advance.


And if you think I am wrong dial Club Mahindra number just 7 days before your desired dates and ask them to book a room saying that you are not a member and want to book a room on Cash basis and I am sure you will succeed to book a room whereas the same room is not available when you happen to be a member.


And then members are left with no other option but to take holidays in the resorts in non-season time when these resorts remain vacant.


Also, a Member must pay Annual Subscription Fee(ASF) from Rs. 9, 000 to 15, 000 per year otherwise a member will not be able to book a room. Moreover, if a member doesn’t pay ASF for two years continuously his Membership will be cancelled and his 7 night holiday for each year will also lapse.


And if due to non-availability of rooms as per members’ choice of dates or if member is not in position to avail holidays for some time continuously due to any reason, he still has to pay ASF for that period(Rs. 9000 to 15000/- per year) and at the same time one cannot bank more than 21 days. This means that your days beyond 21 days will lapse in spite of the fact that you have already paid ASF for that period.


When a person is not using his days either ASF should not be charged or days should not be lapsed.
