Thali it is a filled steel circle that is used to hold the food that we people eat. Thali makes tun tun sound if you bang the katoris on it or even spoon so this brings us to the constituents of a standard thali. So here is a complete Thali set for you people.

Thali - The Circle made up of steel.

Spoon- Chammach, since every one has a chamcha:P hence a thali too has one:P

Katori- Better in angrezi known as Bowl, this is there to hold liquid food in your meal.

Those were the standard fitments something like a TV with a remote hence we call a Thali with Spoon and Katori. Now there is a very old saying which is immensely popular if you all people remember it.

Jis Thaali mein khata hai, usime ched karta hai

Practically if you translate this into implementation, it means you are trying to bore a ched into a steel plate, In my opinion that is a biggest timewaste action that you are doing as I feel either you are really frustrated about many a things hence you are doing that.

Hehehhehe actual mein the saying doesnt need to translate practically it simply means you cannot trait against something that has helped you to earn your bread and butter. So friends with that I have imphasized the importance of Thaali now next time you do it please think of this review or atleast the saying.

Importance of thali has always been not realized, my mom says it is a apshakun to bang a katori with the thali when empty it brings ill luck to the house and you can even face starving situations in your house.

Ok now enough lecturing on the importance of thali let me get down the Thali system that many of the restaurants have adopted, I feel lets getinto the ingredients of the Thalis available across.

1) Gujarati Thali

Not one of my favorites because actually the food available in it is like a Nashta food not the hard core meal i.e. heavy stuff. The dhoklas are fine plus the side by side buttermilk plus few daals and the chapati accompanied with 3-4 sabjis, the problem lies with the food not being that spicey. There is lot of usage of Gud in the food hence the food taste sweet. But I like the side dishes like the sweet and also Undhia and Gotes. They are just too good. The service in Gujarati thali restaurants is real fast also. You know even Dhananjay isnt that fond of the this variety as well.

2) Punjabi Thali

The PACKAGE is awesome. Daal Makhani with phulkes that too garam garam accompanied with Chana Masala and then followed by Rajma chawal many a times you are like confused what to eat and what to leave. I forget all the diet shiet and eat ek dum jee bharke. Ends with a glass of Lassi.

3) Indian Thali

Starts with Papad with Jaljeera and then the main course with aloo ki sabji, some more sabjis, daal and Ghee Chupdi Rotis(My tongue is watering as I type), then the rice and sweets that is like Moong ka Halwa and Gulab Jamoon aha aha:D:D Ends with a glass of Buttermilk.

Lallu Advice.

Thalis are affordable and best way to fulfill your tastes on pure desi Indian tadke waala food, forget the continentals and 5 star restaurants and also road side dhabas but get into a middle path and substitute your ghar ka khana easily with this Good reasonable thalis available. The disadvantage with thalis is that you might find it repetetive and not much of variety but the sheer speed with the food is served is excellent. I will tell you one incident where in I went with my family and Dhananjay and me were having competition of who eats faster, he was like real fast but I wasnt bad either. *Garam Garam khane ka mazaa kuch aur hai

So Enjoy it. I only say to Dhananjay when he eats non stop. Khaa Petu Khaa.

I hope the review is alrite, koi vishesh tippani aap logo ki:D
