Is debate for help or politics
Jun 25, 2013 12:54 PM 3059 Views

Cloud burst, heavy rains, landslide of 16th June is the unforgettable day for the people of uttarakhand as well as for the people who were on the sacred pilgrimage. This natural disaster has become the nightmare for thousands. And why it should not be? As they have lost their dear and loved ones. So many villages just vanished with the too of river. Some homes broken and some filled with mud and water.

But all this loss cannot be understood at the level of politics or political party image building. Thanks to media who is continuously keeping their viewers updated. But as we say everything has its own pros and cons so does the media.

It's really appreciating how media persons are there covering details, but the coverage shows the tourist who are stuck there and their evacuation. Nobody is talking about localities. It's good to see how media took initiative to help those who are missing. But once again the question is what about the localities who too suffered heavy loses. What about their help?

Above all now the focus is shifting to political statements. Who said what and what it means and etc. at this point of time if they show or debate on politicians statements then its really disheartening. The whole country is worried about the people who as victims of natural disaster and not about political party gains. If they don't give importance or repeatedly show the political game then even politicians might too stop playing this political game which is hurting the emotions of aam janta.
