I am a south indian one hundred percent and love, love, love I can write this word love very word south indian dishes and it waters my mouth.

Let me start with MASALA DOSA.

YOUR tongue gets instant water when the persons sitting opposite be it in a restaruant or in train travel if they are eating masala dosa smelling and how your eyes work let me elaborate.

The woman has brought ten packets of famous MASALA DOSA which is still hot and steaming with the masala aroma makes you feel so lively anxious to follow how this woman opens each packet filled with most beautiful masala dosa which is well fried with butter and inside the dosa alu onion is enough placed and also coconut chutney is libearally placed under the banana leave

the banana cut leaf so well suits to be a company for masala dosa.

one cannot stop feeling homesick as the woman places on each member of her family with this most tastiest dosa in the world. This dosa has come from MTR hotel from Bangalore and since the lady is so fond of masala dosa the owner has orderd it to be made so well, the whole co passengers are intrigued with this episode.

I watch with deep interest on the way this teen aged girl cut the edge of this mouth watering dosa and I feel deep sunk because she is showing the maginficient teeth which savor the dosa and her tongue lick the dosa and now she start eating with so much relish, I look at her and she happily smile at me, she is not ready to part with the dosa on hand, I feel like asking her give me a piece of dosa I love it.

The way alu onion and coconut chutney mingle with dosa the union of it for an onlooker is so godly feel and heaven on earth feel when one watch anyone eating MASALA DOSA.

When someone is in deep love the best to eat and enjoy the feel of his love beside him is to relish masala dosa in fullswing.

one feel like ordering more than one, in some cases I have seen young or even old people eating more than three masala dosa.

Masala dosa is so tasty, it can never stop one enjoying savoring its taste and the best place to eat Masala dosa is only in Hotels and usually at home it is impossible to prepare as well done as in

hotels.

Now this lady has got a spare packet of one big masala dosa, she had planned to eat it second time after serving to all others, she finds my tearfull eyes and she can feel my tongue is dry because of missing or homesick with masala dosa.

My silence speak volume feel of sadness and love for masala dosa is on my cheek.

My cheeks are so dull, my eyes have gone inside and my nose is drawing the smell of the way other members of her family enjoying and I am trapped with them.

At last she offers me this packet and I reluctantly say no but my hand moves to hold her hand.

I hold her hand, she knows why.

I hold her hand she finds tears in my eyes thanking for her offer.

she feels so happy, I am sorry she tells.

why I ask.

from the beginning I saw your love for masala dosa.

now I am so happy, she opens the tied packet and I am in a hurry to eat.

All the other members are jealous and happy also because they find me one with them as their own family.

Way I start cutting the dosa and mixing alu and chutney is seen to be belived.

My mouth relish and the way dosa bite brings so much energy and my eyes are no more wet it is joyfull and my cheeks are showing love feelings.

The teen aged girl now sits next to me, and she stares the way I eat the masala dosa.

The next surprise feel for me is plenty of MTR jamun.

she has brought 100 jamuns, the smell of jamun faints me once again.

she offres each 10 jamuns MTR jamuns are so soft and crispy and taste is beyond I can explain here.

I will write more on the south indian dishes which will take the MS readers directly to any nearest southindian hotel to feel the value of this review.

be ready to find more on many iteams.Ladies and gentelmen now I have time to write on another most important tiffin that south indians love to prefer that is IDLI AND VADA SAMBAR.

Idli is universal name in south india most famous eatable for karnataka and tamilnadu people and there is no dissent either from a tamilian or andharite or karnataka person on the preference of idlis as tiffin along with vada sambar.

idlis are made by grounded rice mixed with dal also grounded and previous day mixed with water the mixture is kept overnight to get it little fermented so during the morning or after eight hours it is ready to be cooked in a cooker.

various sized idlis are made some make large idlis and most of the hotels make small sized idlis, for a very long years idlis used to be just one rupee a piece but now a days the rates are 3 rs to four rupees per one piece.

usual time of eating for tiffin is from eight am to eleven am and in the night the canteen people prepare it upto midnite.

combination of idli with vada and sambar, eating with a spoon gives us a very appetite felt feel.

I have consumed when hungry something like ten idlis at home, and outside also from six to eight idlis.

tasty sambar is must and the best sambar is where radish is cooked or even onion with alu with tomato is cooked as a mixture.

in coastal areas they give drumstick cut piece as sambar and it is tasty too.

idlis are very safe to eat because it is cooked in pressure cooker and there is less chance of infection as in travel time one has to be cautious in eating outside.

The third most popuar iteam in karnataka or south india is uppma or uppittu, this is made by frying wheat flour and mixed with oil and again they mix a known quantity of water and once the water is heated they mix chillies and onion and also tomato and pour the fried wheat flour in such a way the mix of flour with water blends so well in the hot water and start giving a very tasty feel aroma.

take few minutes time for quick cooking and in most of the cases this can be prepared just in fifteen minutes time.

when families travel most of the members order tiffin as follows.

1 Masala dosa for all.  2 one plate idli with vada sambar   3 uppma or uppittu  4 kesari bath.

kesari bath is usually eaten along with uppama or uppittu and the taste of kesari bath is really good in most of the good hotels since lot of oil is put on this sweet kesari bath it it better to eat just half plate because one has to eat one masala dosa, one plate idli and vada sambar and the third is uppittu along with kesari bath.

BADAMHALWA

SOUTH INDIA IS FAMOUS FOR THIS TASTIEST SWEET MADE OUT OF BADAM POWDER, IT IS VERY COSTLY BUT WORTH SINCE IT IS MORE MOUTH WATERING FEEL FOR YOUNG GIRLS OR EVEN ANY AGE.I AM VERY FOND OF BADAM HALWA, SUPER I MUST SAY SOUTH INDIANS MAKE BADAM HALWA.

if you eat it at any good place I am sure one may eat as many as four packet which is worth now a days fifteen rupees a packet enclosed in butter paper, it is exciting to open the halwa packet before yu see the yellow halwa your tongue gets wet.
