This “revu” is congregated from an assortment of mails and material I have come across in the recent times. I ‘m redeploying (Plz note this before any comments) this here with the deliberation that this would be of use for somebody. I do not anticipate to win any accolades or appreciation thru this revu. I am posting this only ‘coz this could help scores of “poor” souls out there.


There is no novelty or creativity or any innovation in this revu. Infact, it is not a revu at all!It’s not even an counsel nor does it contain any guidelines. I m just inserting (note this gain before commentin’) the facts I have come across for those engineers and MCAs who could do with them. This would be evident from the simple way and language in which I’m presenting this …

Even if u make a job somewhere, the pay scale might be too low.

Before sending resumes to Infosys HR mail-ID (freshers@infy.com ) plz note :


1. 10 Th, Inter, Engineering percentages should be 75, 70 and 75 respectively.


2. Date of Birth must be after January 1 st, 1979 for BTech students.


3. You should not have taken the Infosys test or interview in the last 9 months.


4. Write Your Full Name, Date of Birth, 10 Th, Inter, Engineering percentages at the top of resume clearly. They are mandatory. If they are not present, your resume will be DELETED straightaway. In fact, no other details are required in resume. Don’t write all nonsense like you are the synonym of hard work etc.


5. Also NEVER write your percentages Semester wise or Year-wise. Just write the aggregate percentage. That's more than sufficient. No one is going to read your complete resume.


If you don’t satisfy any of the above criteria, your resumes will be DELETED by the HR straightaway. So, no use of sending them.


Also note:


Even if you meet all these criteria, you may NOT get the call letter sometimes. You are not the only one applying for the job. When the number of resumes received is in lakhs, they will give call letters only to few thousands. It depends on your LUCK. So, if don’t get a call letter, either wait for some time or apply for the next test.
