Just try to figure out if you want to have the kid infront of your eyes all the time or if you want a boarding school.
For my advice in the childhood of the kid you must let him with you and then if you are working and you don't have enough time let him be in boarding.
Actually boarding schools are great because they help your kid focus upon his future and lets him find the interests he has in life and lets him to be extrovert and less emotional in making decisions.
