Whether you read a story book or a course book, you should be free of any nagging thoughts that keep coming to you constantly. This non concentration or things that are dragging you away from the book will obviously make your reading futile. So, for reading any books a proper place with non-disturbing environment is required. If you read a book half understood is a sheer waste of time, might as well not read a book at all. Reading is a good habit and it requires concentration. Reading books will make you more informative and a complete person where you can discourse with anyone on any subject so be a happy reader by keeping several things in mind.
