Obesity is simply fat accumulation in the body out of proportion. Person with Hypothyroidism accumulates fat at a greater rate and stays in the body permanently. Hypothyroidism is a result of less thyroxin being produced by thyroid gland thereby slowing down metabolic process. Another reason of obesity is abstaining from physical exercise or medically speaking burning of the energy, as energy is to burnt on regular basis to be replaced ones, which is an ongoing process. Lazy people tend to get fat or obese sooner than an active person. Last but not the least junk and untimely food habits also contributes to obesity. Junk food as you know are not properly balanced and so it literally gets dumped in the stomach resulting in accumulation of fat in the body and added to that, your stomach will never fare well if you indulge much of fast food or junk food regularly.
