Shape of modular kitchen: Modular kitchen should be designed either U shape or L shape which provide comfort to women to work & space to put some others items like refrigerator and also useful for washbasin.

Safety & security: Gas cylinder arrangement should be in proper way & safely. Place electrical appliances near to light switch board and not placed near to washbasin. We should placed a fire extinguisher for any emergency.

Color combination: Color is a vital role in color & always avoid White color because it is very difficult to clean and its required high maintenance. Darker shades also attract more heats in summer and also easy to maintain.

Cross Ventilation: Cross ventilation is required in modular kitchen because lots of heat generate during the cooking, we should fix exhaust fan or chimney in kitchen & its should be open in the balcony.

Proper lighting: Proper lighting is major issues in modular kitchen because maximum time women spent in kitchen . There should be ample natural light as well as overhead light in the modular kitchen.
