Hi. Nice to  share some cool tips on CD RW with you all.! Hope this will be useful .

• Always use good quality compact discs . Don't spoil your writer by using the cheaper quality cds.

  
  




• Clean your CD Rw lens atleast once in a month with the help of CD Lens cleaner.

  
  




• Never use CD Rw drive for reading ordinary cd's .Instead use a different cd rom drive for the purpose.

  
  




• Use the soft button to close the tray and don't push the tray inside directly. It may cause physical damage.

  
  




• If you are using the re-writable cd then clean its surface before using.(Never touch cd's data side with hand)

  
  




• Don't try to open the tray while cd writing is in progress.(When write-LED is blinking)

  
  




• While installing your new cd-rw make sure that its configured to work as Secondary master.

  
  




• If you are using RW in cd to cd mode select make sure to select test & copy option.

  
  




• Always use the recording software which is bundled with your hardware.
