Keep Your CD-RW healthy

What a good idea to keep your data to a storage without putting yourself into trouble searching for it long. The simple and reliable solution to this is to use the CD-RW. It gives you full liberty to keep your data stored or copied to a desired sized storage media which are available with you.

To keep it working well, fine tuning is badly needed. To do that few measures have to be taken to keep your device in good shape and health.

$ Keep your Device Lens clean by using the the Lens cleaner once in a

month or if you are using your device heavily then use it twice a month.

$ Keep the CD-RW away from the dust by keeping the CPU cover on if its attached in the CPU itself, or keep it in a covered state if it is external.

$ Switch off the CD-RW once you are done, if its external device.

$ Never push tray of the CD-RW directly to help it close, always use the push button.

$  Always use quality compact discs . Cheaper quality CDs would damage the head of the device very badly.

$  Never use CD Rw drive for reading data / music CDs . Instead use a CD ROM device for this. If you start using this then it will deteriorate the condition of your device.

$ Don't put worn out CDs(in case of CD Re-writable) in to the CD-RW. It will

be damaging your device badly.

$ Always use the reliable software for burning your CDs, preferably the software given by the Hardware vendor.

$ Keep your device tray close and never try to force it open while the writing process is ended but no message is prompted on the screen as it might take 2-3 minutes for this message to pop up.

$ While installing your new device follow the step by step process manual from the hardware vendor for the installation as if something happens to the device you can consult the vendor for the same and tell them at which step the failure has occured. This is to safeguard yourself.

$ Don't open the CD-RW lid or any component during the warranty period on your own if something happens during the process.

Following these general tasks would provide you some sort of cushion for yourself to keep the device in a good shape and long lasting condition.

Have a nice time! HAPPY BURNING!:)
