Induction Cookers - Good and Useful
Jul 10, 2010 06:15 PM 16534 Views

I live on the outskirts of the city and have recently moved to a independent room - Getting something to eat out here has always been a pain. Even for getting tea or coffee I had to go around 2kms. I didnt want to invest on a gas stove as I didnt want to keep a gas stove in a small room. I tried alternatives and found the so called'electric cookers' on the market.I went to a big electronic store - And looked into the ranges.it started at 3000. Having used gas burners all my life I was a bit skeptic to invest.

I then went to a few local hardware shops, I ended up with buying a local model [BT Multi Induction Cooker] for a price of Rs.2000 &got a sauce pan for Rs 400.

I got home and tried it out, I was stunned by the quick time it had taken to boil water. [Boiled around 500ml of water under 20 sec].

Anyone who wants a quick install and cooking mechanism should consider induction cookers as an alternative to gas stoves.
