On reading reviews, some have stated a good performance and some have complained a curse

on their purchase. On my experience of satisfactory use of 4 Induction cookers of different brands

( Prestige, Nice cook and Sunflame) for the last two years, I would like to mention the following.

1  Do not set power level beyond 1100 - 1400 Watts and reduce it to the necessary limit while cooking.

2  Pay attention when the Induction cooker is on till completion of cooking.to avoid spillage.

3  Always check that the fan inside the cooker is working which you can observe by a mild sound and a gentle vibration which you can feel by touching the plastic body.  If fan fails to work, the electronics inside will be over heated leading to failure.

4.After cooking, press the off button and allow the fan to work work till it gets automatically off.

This is necessary to cool the electronics quickly.

5  As for as possible, avoid using a vessel having a diameter greater than a round marked on the glass plate. If you are using a tawa of bigger diameter than the round marked on the glass plate, take care to hold the handle firmly so that the tawa does not get into contact with plastic frames on the the sides( in some brands / models)

6  Give the cooker a brief rest say 5 -10 minutes  after  using for about 60 to 90 minutes. This will check over heating of system.

7  At periodic intervals of time, say 3 to 4 months, clean the air hole slots on the plastic frame on the sides and at the bottom slots beneath the fan.  This will help free flow of air for cooling purpose.

8  Clean the glass top every now and then to give a mirror like look. This will improve heating efficiency.  Use a soft damp cloth for cleaning. Remove sticky spots using a plastic strip to avoid scratches on the glass plate.

I hope users will find the above suggestions useful. .
