I had applied for PAN card, through our company agent who charges us 150/- fifty rupees extra. But I thought its better to give it somebody than waste time & energy at bajaj capital. One can save 50 bugs by going to authorized PAN card application collection centre.
I had filled up the form(hard copy) which is also available online at website https://utitsl.co.in/utitsl/site/form49a.htm . The document requires one photo copy of Address proof and one ID proof. After submission, they will give you the "Processing Coupon No" and Application No. Via which you can track it online via URL https://utitsl.co.in/utitsl/site/pantracker.jsp
The website( http://www.utitsl.co.in) is bit slow
I got the PAN card delivered to my address in approx 18 days after filing the application which is above my expected time of delivery. I hope the Passport Dept. take lesson from Income Tax Dept.
