Anger-What is it?


That's a very frequently asked question.Anger is a very natural and the most prime emotion felt by every individual.It at times cools us but at the same time it hurts us!


Therefore, many people try to control their anger, not only for themselves but for the good of their loved ones.


For Example:


Tina knew her anger had a very negative impact on many people, but she didn't accept it.Then, one day she saw her children trembling with fear when she was angry.


Now, like Tina no one would want their own children or any loved one having fear of us.Thus, here are some helpful tips of controlling anger which I use and hope they will be useful to you too.


TIPS:


UNDERSTANDING ANGER:


First, and foremost, one should understand anger.It is a very natural feeling and everyone feels it when the situation permits you to.


One should not feel guilty when angry.This is because, you will only suppress yourself by feeling that.


Without understanding that anger is a natural emotion, you cannot control it.


MEDITATION:


In todays world, everyone undergoes some kind of stress, be it a 10 year old kid or a 60 year old man. Thus, the best way to control your stress and anger is to meditate or do yoga.


This not only calms you mentally but keeps you fit physically too.


EAT:


Many people may think this tip is a joke!But truly, if one eats well and enjoys their food, just go on and try it!


You will not only feel happy about doing something you like but will be completely relaxed too, as many people tend to sleep after a good meal!


PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:


Any physical activity like swimming, driving, playing a sport like squash or tennis, even cycling relaxes both your mind and soul.


Thus, calms your anger!


EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS:


This is probably the most effective way of controlling your anger! One can just write and pen down their feelings on a paper or even talk to someone whom they are very close to.


This will definitely make you feel better after doing so.


GO FOR A WALK:


Go for a good stroll alongside the sea.


Wear loose and comfortable clothes as tight and fitted clothes, tend to make you uncomfortable too.


This will give you time to think and analyse your feelings and ultimately calm you down.


MAKE YOURSELF FEEL GOOD:


This tip definitely cools me down!Ladies, or even men-go shopping, pick up something and treat yourself!


Even buying a couple of flowers for yourself will make you feel great!


Or go get a great massage!


An expensive but effective method!


HOBBY:


Do something that always relaxes your mind, it maybe any kind of hobby that you like.


It maybe cooking, painting, drawing or even reading!


OTHER METHODS:


SLEEP=This is by far the best method.Have a good nap and when you get up, you'll feel a lot more better!


READ=Pick up your favourite book and start reading, you'll be too engrossed in it that you will eventually forget your anger!


LAUGH:People say laughter is the best medicine and its proven to be too!So, just have a good laugh with a funny movie, serial or even joke!
