Tablet vs Netbook! . Review on Tips on How to Buy a Netbook

I just wanna clarify some confusion around with people about " What to choose" either tablet pc or mini lappy i.e netbook. Hope I can succeed with this post! I hope everyone is well aware of tablet and netbook.

the apple's invention of i-pad has totally changed the revolution of computing. so many companies followed them and came ahead with tablets. and coming to netbooks these are the mini laptops which comes with the basic intel processors manufactured by different companies.

Processing:

Both the tablet and netbook have the processors in them, respective to the netbooks maximum of the processors would be Intel Atom varying from 1.33 to 1.6 ghz and in tablets it depends on the model with different processors and varies from 600mhz to 1.2 ghz. But the interesting thing is dont under estimate the tablet processors, there is a strong reason behind that, the processor in netbook needs to load all the components of the operating system and the programs installed in that so this will lead to slow boot up and slow processing as well. coming to tablets most of the tablets have Android Os and its boot up is very easy and loading the android components is very easy.

Speed/Ram:

This is another major factor to consider, maximum of the tablets comes with 512mb ram and netbooks with 1gb ram but there is a advantage of adding memory in netbook(upgradable to 2gb) but its not possible in tablet to add extra memory.

Display/Graphics:

o/p plays a vital role always, so coming to tablet all major tablets are equipped with 7" display, and all netbooks with 10.1" display and compared to graphics defnetly netbook comes with intel hd graphics. where as some tablets may or may not come with GPU.

Storage:

Data storage is compulsory to store our personal stuff, movies, games, photos what not everything. so here all major tablets comes with 4gb internal and 32gb expandable which is not included so we have to afford extra 2, 500rs. but in case of netbook we get 250 or 320 gb hard disk.

Touchscreen:

by seeing the heading itself u come to know who is the winner, yes it's the tablet by the same time I cant say netbook is zero because we have some netbooks with touchscreen but they are expensive and will not come under the same category.tablets also come with efficient G-sensor and touch capacitvity.

Battery:

Yet another important factor to consider its battery life all the netbooks comes with 6 cell batery which gives nearly 7-10 hours of baterry life with continuous usage.tablets comes with Lithium-ion batterys and gives back up of 4-6 hours hardly.

Extras:

coming to the extra options tablet has 3.5mm jack, usb port, speakers o/p, wifi, bluetooth. where as in netbook it has all the options listed in tablets and in additional to that it has ethernet connector, Vga port, multiple usb slots multi card reader slot.and coming to the usage we have to use only touch to type in tablets but we have the option to type in netbooks.and usage of allpication like MS office would be quite difficult in tablets wen compared to netbooks.

Looks & Stylish:

obviously this section goes to the tablets. very slim look and stylish. same in the case of netbooks as they look thin but they lag in this section due to the wieght normally a netbook weighs 1.2kg where as a tablet weighs 400-600 grms.

I have compared all the sections with respective to their Price range only. and its totally my opinion.

Example:

Reliance 3G Tab(12, 999)  Vs  Samsung NP-N100(12, 000)

Hp Touchpad 16gb(15, 500)  Vs  Hp Mini 110-3606TU(16, 000)

Results:

Tablet    : 28.5/40

Netbook:   32/40

Price:

Tablet Ranges from  3000-30000.

Netbook Ranges from 12000-20000.

I dont say that Netbook is winner or Tablet is looser, I just wanna help out some of my friends to get a clear idea to choose their Gadget. because I have seen some of my friends struggling "what to choose". so I finally say that entirely depends on "what u like", "what u need" ri8? hope this advice help u friends.
