Hmmm . much to talk nothing to listen . Music is some thing that should touch your soul . some thing that should be soothing.one which can give you refreshment . But the quality of Kannada songs has reduced over the past 2yrs . may be more since the time this re-mix trend has started.one can find so many flaws in these songs. No proper lyrics . or rather no lyrics at all . the type of music incorporated.the singers . no relevance to the situation in the movie . and many more. These songs are either copied or exactly translated from the native movies.
Ok I agree that some songs in the other language movies are good and those can be copied . but copying does not mean that you need to take an exact image of it . get the lyrics get the music re-create it . to our tastes and standards and not spoil the original as well as the remade one . Some no All most all songs have Hindi, English, Telgu, Tamil lyrics in them with very few Kannada wordings.are you making songs for US or encouraging others . I am not telling you love only our language and hate all others but still when they all can maintain their originality why can't WE! . and coming to music . earlier we had amazing melodies . just by listening to music you could forget the whole world.but now U FELL AM I ON EARTH!
It will neither be rock, nor pop nor jazz.nor ultimate classic . or neither a Blend of all these . it's just MESS.and the singers . PLEASE ALL THE SINGERS before screaming or rather yelling.go and get your voice audited or tested . we have some legendary people like P.B Srinivas, S.P.B, Yesudas, Dr.Rajkumar who have amazing voice quality . who have given relief or rather treat to our ears . don't make them feel ashamed . don't make them feel that music is no more respected and worshiped in a land like INDIA which is known for it's culture . for it's folk . Every other day we find people fight that we need Kannada to be given prominence but are our own people following this . before point out at others have we ourselves thought about how much we respect our regional language . we only get to hear songs with wierd lyrics . which has more of other language words than our own . and are we running short of singers in our land that we call people from other industry who don't even know the meaning of the words that they are singing or recording .
Comeon people there are precious dimonds among ourselves why get people from else where and pay them double the money . better encourage our people . nurture them . they give their life for it .
We find music directors from other industry findins talents in our land and encouraging them . do we need some one else to do this. Me being a bangalorian don't feel like listening to any single Kannada song which are running in the present market.it is such a shame for me, when I tell my friends that I hate listening to kannada music.at the same time feel bad also when they come and tell the music SUCKS it's DISGUSTING!
WAKE UP PEOPLE WAKE UP YOUTH TIME TO CHANGE THE TREND.TIME TO BRING BACK THE GOOD OLD DAYS . THE GOOD OLD MELODIES.
