Tips on Credit Card Charges

My advice goes here:
Always pay your minimum amount well before the due date to avoid late fee in the range of Rs 300-500.
If you can't pay the whole outstanding amount, then just pay minimum amount. Because, any amount greater than minimum but less than total outstanding will incur equal debit interest for that month.
Add your credit card to the list of your savings account NEFT transfer list. NEFT is more reliable and you have the guarantee of amount being transferred on the same day(PS: NEFT is available only on working days).
Never Ever use your credit card to withdraw cash from ATMs. BAD IDEA. Cash advance charges are on per transaction basis and are too high. The moment you withdraw cash, all your purchases for current billing cycle will lose interest free period. This means that you will be charged interest on your cash advance+ purchases from transaction date.
-Don't cross credit limit of the card. Most banks charge over-limit fine in the range of 300~500.
