MY TIP ON BUYING GARLIC PILLS

Garlic is some times called the'The Stinking Rose'. A thousand year’s ago garlic was used as a medicine. It is not a vegetable but an herb called'Allium sativum'. Did you know that GARLIC is in the 10 top foods that we should eat each day?

It's a potent'antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal agent'. It can help the heart, strengthens blood vessels and lowers blood cholesterol, blood pressure, infections and carcinogens.

Did you also know that if you cook garlic in any way it looses its value? To release allicin, (the beneficial active compound of garlic), chop or crush the cloves.

I suggest you eat them raw in a salad, sandwich or salsa. Or you can take a pill! Please do not use anything without consulting your Doctor. Funny I am giving you this advice.which I didn't do!

I never had high cholesterol until 2 years ago, (I was tested every year for 20 years). Once I tested for having high cholesterol my Doctor gave me a year to lower it. A week later my friend arrived for a visit. Once she heard I had high cholesterol she took me to the Health Shop in Victoria and bought me my first box of garlic pills.

She explained to me that all garlic pills were not alike and the only one I should use is a brand called'Kwai'. Naturally it was the most expensive pill that is sold in Canada. She insisted it was the only garlic pill that had the same properties in each one. She also told me I must take three pills a day forever. I took the three pills a day for the week she stayed with us. Once she left I only remember to take one a day, (I don't think I really believed her).

Fast forward to a year later and the day before my cholesterol test. I'm reading the newspaper and I see that there is a new pill for high cholesterol that not only lowers your cholesterol but helps bring back the density of your bones. I have very week knees and so I was almost happy that I might have to take a pill that would help my bones.

The following day I went to see my Doctor. Before he could tell me the results of my high cholesterol test I blurted out, 'I ready to take that new high cholesterol pill'. He looked puzzled and asked me why and I told him. He answered me, 'The new high cholesterol pill does repair bones and add density but you won't be taking it because you don't have high cholesterol any more.' I couldn't believe it and when I told my Doctor how I had lowered my cholesterol he told me he was sorry he had not told me to try them as garlic is a great help.

'Kwai' is maded with a garlic powder core and has a'multi-layer coating', (so it won't bother your stomach). Each pill contains:' 100 mg of triple concentrated Chinese Garlic powder, sucrose, lactose, talc, hydroxyproply, melthylcellose, cellulose, caster oil, silkca, polyvinylprrolidone, polyyethylene glycho, magnesium stearate, gelatin, camauba wax and beeswax. It does not contain: salt, yeast, gluten or starch'. The nice thing is you won't have'garlic breath'.

The'Lichtwer' Company in Berlin, Germany makes ‘Kwai’. I pay$15.00 CAD, (unless I can find it on sale), for a box of 280 tablets. So one box lasts me over 3/4 of a year of pills.

THE OTHER 9 FOODS AND VITAMINS YOU NEED ARE:

Vitamin B-6, C & E.  Soy, Fish, Broccoli, Mushrooms, Carotenioids, (there are 600 vegetables and fruits that have this), and Green Tea

SOME THOUGHTS:

I don't own the Company or own Shares in it. All garlic pills are not the same and I hope my tip on'Kwai' helped you.

All I can say is'it worked for me'! It might work for you as well so ask your Doctor.
