Website Claims the following:Tuition Benefit:If policy holder suffer Accidental death during the circumstances describe in a hazard, such that an Accidental Death benefit is payable under the policy. Educational allowance for child & higher educations – Rs-1, 50, 000. How ever document Clause C-4 states - "is in grade 12 and subsequently enrolls as a full time student." . Later is says " the benefit is not payable for any term of enrolment as a full-time student that begins before that date of the insured persons death.". Which means if the child is below 12 standard or above this benefit is not applicable. This policy is only applicable if you are about to die in an accident when your child has just finished 12th class and is about to take admission. If he has taken admission and you die then no benefit.
