Using ATM machine now became very common even in far flung rural areas of our country. As a result people now ignore or even think less on it's usage safety, which is harmful to them. Here are the tips for using ATM machines anywhere-
(1) Before entering in any ATM room, see carefully outside and inside. See who's inside. If there is someone using the machine, then wait for your turn outside the room. Seeing outside is even more important. Before entering in any ATM, see who is standing there aimlessly.
(2) Never say someone to help you inside the ATM room. Never reveal your PIN or ATM Card number to anyone.
(3) Never use a cell phone or any electronic gadget inside the room as it will distract your attention from work.
(4) Before leaving ATM room, after completion of your work, wait for another few seconds so that ATM machine's screen can come to the normal mode. Never leave your transaction receipt there.
(5) Never take a lift, no matter how far or near your home is. Use public transport instead.
(6) Never use ATM early morning or late night. Doing this creates attention amongst anti-social elements. Use ATM in pick hours, most probably in afternoon.
(7) Use ATM of your locality or area nearby. Try to use ATM locally. If you reside in urban area try to ignore using ATM's in rural areas.
(8) Use ATM of your's bank. You will then get easily recognised and will avail more services.(9) Lastly, the most important one, never write your ATM PIN on ATM Card. This is commonly found in people but is very harmful for your's bank account safety.
Privacy and safety together are important in using ATM machines.
