I always admire Malcolm Gladwell books on the statistical study. His books' don't has any story. It is basically on statistical studies of certain phenomena. His books have real facts this fact builds to assemble main point.
His book describes, how particular thing occurs, how some people are successful, how unconsciously we do certain phenomena. Tipping point is his first book, published in 2000. However, somehow I read this book after completing blink and outlier.
Tipping point is epidemically spread of the rare phenomenon to larger mass of people. This infrequent phenomenon spread to become trend or fashion.
To explain this point author elucidating certain facts.First author explains about the fashion trends, how fashion trend spread like epidemic.
Hush puppies' shoes were sold in few small shops of east village, New York. At that time only teenager use-to-use those shoes. Teenager from an east village found those shoes cool, and that fashion was spread like epidemic.
Further author explains about the crime rate in New York City, outbreaks of AIDS, smoking trend, and suicide craze.
Author has written too many negative examples in his book, because of this book become unenthusiastic. If author had written more positive example, then that would be optimistic and worthy.
