I had placed an order with timtara.com on Aug 3 ,
They promised to deliver the product within 3 weeks. Till Now I have not received my product.
When I tried contacting them after 2nd week the customer care requested to wait till the maximum time. Hence I kept waiting till the last week. Then every time I called them they said you complain has been escalated to the Back-End Department(Not sure what that means) . And they will contact you with 24-48 working hours . (1 Thing In need to mention is per day they have 8 working hours so 24-48 working hours = 3-6 working days (holidays not included like Saturday and Sunday)).
They sent a mail with the following on the 4th day.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you due to the delay in delivery. This has been caused due to a heavy demand in the product(s) you ordered. However, we are confident that the product(s) can be shipped in 7 - 8 working days. We will be in touch with you.
Again no one will contact you. Hence I kept calling their customer care everyday and they are as usual ignorant about product delivery. They will not share anybodies no. as well to contact and inquire.I have my relatives at NOIDA and I looked at various reviews in MouthShut_Official.com regarding visiting their office at NOIDA and get you money refunded with a fight. When they approached TIMTARA.COM office they finally revealed that they have tie up with the companies whose products they show on their websites.
e.g., in case SAMSUNG products are displayed for sell, once 1000 Samsung mobiles are order from timtara then they place the bulk order and get the products cheaper and are able to deliver it to the customers. Till then they keep the money with them. Not sure what they do with the money during this time.
So what goes wrong in this approach is the person who has order first waits for ages.
No. 1 order guy waits for ages and the last guy No 1000 order gets it on time. So waiting in inversely proportional to the no.you get. Earlier the order longer you wait.
I do not think they will reveal the no. when you place a order. In case you still want to get the discount place order at your risk. They have confirmed my order delivery in couple of days. They do have consignment papers at their office and it looks legitimate for the bulk orders made. I will still not suggest anyone to invest money in the venture where returns are not on time.
