I am one of the many victims of timtara frauds. Won't write anything about timtara.com as its apparent from the review rating scores.
Coming straight to the point. If your order delivery time has exceeded 15 working days(i.e. barring only Sundays and public holidays, as claimed by timtara) and if you have made payment th' credit card then follow the steps below.
Drop a reminder mails to timtara customer care clearly stating your order number, amount, date when order was placed. This is very important as your bank will insist that you furnish all your communication with the merchant. In fact, I would recommend sending at least 2-3 emails to timtara customer care
Contact your credit card issuing bank's customer care and report a'Charge Dispute'. Your bank may ask you again to resolve your matter directly with merchant. But you have to tell them that you have tried reaching out merchant many a times but in absence of any response from merchant I am forced to raise a charge dispute(with an intention to protect the customer from such fraud merchants).
If your bank agrees then you will be required to fill up the charge dispute form stating the reason why you want the amount reversed. One of the reason you will find would be "Merchant has not delivered the product in the committed time. The form may vary from bank to bank.
Along with form, you would also be required to furnish all the communication with merchant(thats where point#1 is important) as the onus is up to YOU to prove that merchant has failed to keep its promise and its the merchant who has not delivered the product within committed time frame.(Most products on timtara.com have standard delivery time of 10-20 working days)
Upon receiving your charge disputed request, your bank will start investigation and the same may take upto 60 days. However, you will get the amount credited back into your credit card account within a day or two of filing this request.
MOST IMP: After performing investigation if your bank finds that the fault is from merchant's side(which will always be the case provided you have furnished all the communications with timtara), your bank will charge some penalty also to the merchant. This is my additional motive of writing this review. Not only you get your money back but the fraud like timtara also get fined. In fact, spread as much of -ve words as possible that banks black list such frauds and don't accept any payments from timtara.
I know, there are many people over here who have spent good amount of time and energy in trying to overcome with the feeling of'Getting cheated' And I believe getting timtara.com penalized this way would help heel some of this pain.
Good luck to all.
