Its Great.. Review on Timex Watches

I like most people used to see time in my cellphone rather than wearing a wrist watch. I discontinued wearing watches about three years back when the battery of my Casio sports watch needed replacement. I was too lazy and started using my cellphone as an alternative. But sometimes I felt very bad when I was asked time by someone around. On my 26th birthday i.e on 4th october, I decided to buy myself a nice wrist watch. My budget was Rs 5-10 thousand. Only Citizen Ecodrive series was in my mind. I liked their features like solar charging batteries and looks. But when I asked prices of the ones I liked, I was disappointed. one was for Rs 19800 & other for Rs 41000.

Then I changed my mind and entered Timex showroom. I was shown many latest designs but mostly they were meant for oldies! But when I was shown Timex T2M428 I fall in love at first sight. In Times language its a "retrograde sports chronograph leisure watch." Its has a nicely finished black dial with red & white detailing and chrome strips in place of numbers. Its available only in men's size. Its a big watch so only suitable for guys with broad wrist. It comes with a quality leather strap with orange accent. Stainless steel bracelet is optional. But I recommend the leather strap because it matches the dial. This machine is equipped with one main dial to tell you time in 12 hour configuration. Its an analouge quartz with radium strips on the needles. It doesn't have the indiglo back-light though. This masterpiece looks stunning with its three clear chronograph sub-dials. All the three sub-dials are clear and easy to operate. One on the left side denotes week days, on the right side the other one denotes date and on the bottom there's a special subdial which denotes 24 hour clock & shows day/night.

The watch has a stainless steel back and is comfortable on the skin. I am satisfied with this watch as everybody liked it. Now I will come to the price. Its MRP is Rs 4999/- and I got 15% discount on it i.e for Rs 4250. It came with one year Timex warranty. Its packed with features, it looks great and comes at an affordable price.
