Timesjobs is taking the benefit of innocent job seekers. I am looking for jobs for few months now and these ppl are always on the prowl for such job seekers. I got a call last week about this premium service 'Resume Zapper'. First of all they keep on going about how your profile has been selected by some top notch companies and that is when you fall in the trap.
I was asked to pay some 1600 rs for this so called service. The salesperson told me that I will get an email regarding every company and even his details. Unfortunately, I do not recall his name. Once I paid 1600 my call was transferred to a guy who called himself as my personal Profile Manager. He had a look at my resume and said it needs to be changed according to industry standards and then asked me to be online and guided me to a page where I was supposed to pay some 3500 rs for getting my resume done. Fortunately, I did not fall in the trap this time and said straight away that I don't want my resume to be done. Then he kind of frightening me that if I don't get this done then no company will approach me. I kept on denying. So I think he finally gave up. But, next day someone else called up and said the same S*t again. This happened for 3 days non-stop. Meanwhile, nothing was done from service point of view.
Today morning I got a mail that they have forwarded my resume to some companies and provided a list. Now, this list seemed to be a directory of all the existing consultancies across India. Although they had promised that my resume will go directly to the companies. But I was happy that at least these consultancies would help. Now in the evening, I am getting a call from Timesjob.com that there is some assessment work that needs to be done and the report will go to the companies. This time, I asked beforehand if it was paid. The guy on the phone said yes and diverted the topic and asked my login online. I was NEVER told about such thing in the beginning that such reports needed to be given. These are all HIDDEN Cost. This guy - Abhishek Verma, was the rudest person I have ever come across in my 7 years of career. I asked for a refund and he talks BS with me, saying that it would take ages. Then I said ok lets go ahead without paying for reports, I don't want these reports. To this, he tells that it is compulsory! Damn, I lost it.
I am asking for a refund, don't care if it is 1600. But these people are CHEATERS. I made a mistake of not reading previous reviews, I should have done that. Feels like an intelligent fool conned by such people.
PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR THESE SERVICES.
