Worst and horrible service I had ever experienced. Review on Times Packers and Movers

I am working for Infosys and I relocated from Bangalore to Trivandrum. I decided to go with Times movers and packer for bring my house hold items to Trivandrum (the worst decision I have ever made in my life). They will quote a very good price and will claim that it is the final price, but after packing and loading the items when they will give you the bill there will be lot of extra charges like 1000 RS for check post, Insurance (which is of no use) etc... You and I will not have any problem in paying this extra money to them, if the items are reaching us safely.

After shipping 18 items I received only 14 items, 4 items were miss shipped to Calcutta I was told. The items included my computer CPU cabin, Television and two bags. I tried calling them, initially they pretend to help me and later they end up not picking up my calls. I was asked to contact one Mr. Dilip Das +91-9008999989. You have to call them from different numbers and telephone booths to talk to them. I got fed up calling them. After few days they told me that they had got the shipment back to Bangalore from Calcutta and will be shipped to Trivandrum soon.

And then whenever I could manage to get them on phone, they will say that tomorrow the shipment will leave from Bangalore. Some time they will even say that the shipment had left from the Bangalore, but after one or two days when you ask them when it will reach you, they will say it didn’t leave Bangalore since the truck had some problem, they had to bring back the goods in between for some reason, so and so forth..

After 1 month (to be more accurate 42 days) I received the items after calling them day and night from different numbers and telephone booths and troubling them (I am sure that if you don’t follow up you will not receive the items). My CPU cabin was of not much use, hard disc was damaged, processor came out of its position hence damaged the motherboard and other items. TV was not working with lots of scratches and beatings; one of the bags was damaged very badly etc.

I asked for insurance and they have not yet given me any money. I had insured the items for 2 Lakhs; I just felt I throw away few more bucks into their pocket. I had never experienced any such bad service in my life time from any such service providers (leave alone packers and movers). It gave me sleepless nights and huge tension. My request is by mistake also never approach these guys.
