I have never appreciated India times online shopping ever since I bought a set of poor quality
music VCDs some years ago.However since they market their products in an aggressive way I
succumbed to the temptation of giving them one more chance. I ordered for their much
promoted Car utility combo on cash on delivery basis. Order Number 113449804 Dated
Nov.10.2011.
This product was never delivered to me and when one of my assistants called up the so called
customer care they told him they product was dispatched by First flight couriers They even
gave the docket number.
First flight courier however said they have never received any goods for for delivery to me.
When Indiatimes customer care was contacted they said the goods could not be delivered and
had to be returned to the merchant and the order has been cancelled and I may order again.
Indiatimes are probably not aware that First flight couriers are the authorized couriers for the manufacturing and export company I own in Meerut and we send or receive several packets almost on a daily basis through them.
Indiatimes staff have blatantly lied to my staff saying they have dispatched the goods . I am
glad I did not pay by credit card or else I would have had a difficult time getting a refund
Alternatively as feared I would have ended up with a product not worth the cost.
Customers my please be aware that Indiatimes is a dishonest company and one must think
twice before using their services.
