After being loyal to MTNL internet for 3 years I tried to give Tikona a shot. But I must admit it has been the worst of decisions I have taken. I opted for 1 Gb plan for 330 bucks.




  1. initial 3 months went fine. Speed was good. Customercare was ok.




  2. Since my monthly usage is less and I had always gone for limited usage plans, my monthly requirements never exceeded 1Gb. To my utter surprise, I found that my usage for 1 day was showing as 700 MB. It was complete shock since it meant that some1 downloaded a movie of 700 Mb in 2 hrs and it was showing in my account. Fortunately for me I had NETMETER download monitor which recorded my limits daily. I complained to Tikona abt this. Initially they said they would waive off but they did not and kept that usage as if it was mine. I tried to argues my case with -






a. netmeter screenshots for usage


b. calculation which showed that 700 MB in 2hrs at the normal download speed at that time was not possible.


But all my efforts were in vain.




  1. I did not pay up for the usage that was mine but continued to use it thinking some day they will waive it off. All other months my usage was 800 mb odd. Then came another shocker. 1 day I realised that my INTERNET was BEHAVING WIERDLY..it used to connect and then nothing used to happen. no sites used to open. I tried connecting and disconneting many times. I even complained to Tikona that MY INTERNET WAS NOR WORKING...finally it started working fine from next day. Something clicked and I figured my usage and it showed 900 MB ON THE DAY MY INTERNET WAS NOT WORKING....Now this is clear cut case of my network being HACKED...since whenever I used to connect the HACKER used to divert the connection to him and FREEZE INTERNET CONNECTION ON MY PC.... This time I argued with -




a. the complaint that my internet was not working


b. netmeter screenshots..


To my utter dismay after lodging this complaint for 5-6 days I got no response from Tikona. Finally fed up I disconnected the service. I quickly got a call from them saying if anything could be done. But this was the limit and I abandoned them...


I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TIKONA to ANY1 since they are




  1. CHEATERS who slap UNREALISTIC USAGES to customer




  2. customer care is adamant to hear customer plea




  3. they have a CHALTA HAI attitude.






Mind you Tikona...This fould play will help u in SHORT TERM but will throw u off in LONG TERM.....
