From this forum I would like to warn internet people not to opt for tikona internet connection. I bought an internet connection for Rs 3300 (3 GB per month). And for last year I am not able to use even 1 GB of internet out of it. Reason - 90% times the internet is down.


Now I would like to tell you what happens when I go for raising complaint to customer care against internet not working.


1 You will be put on hold for 3-20 minutes to reach a technical executing on customer care line. (and yes these lines dont work after 10:30 PM)


2 Now engineer will ask you to switch on and off your device, which of course will not work. You will be then asked to clear cookies and the restart computer. Then after some struggle he will register your complaint.


3 Next day you will be waiting for engineer visit but if you are lucky you will get a call from support executive and you will repeat step 2 and he may say that there is no problem from his end. Once again after a lot of struggle you will raise another complaint.




  1. You will stuck in loop for steps 2 and 3 many times and some days will be passed.




  2. You may lucky to get a call from engineer and he may pay you visit or most probably he will close your ticket without resolution.




  3. Now you get stuck in loop from 2 to 5 again. Many days will be passed.




  4. If by chance you are in good fate and get your internet connection working, you will get the problem again after few days.




  5. I also tried sending so many mails to tikona feedback and tikona customer care but they do not reply at all.




  6. And one more interesting thing. Their antenna device is mounted on rooftop of shared building which got stolen. Their engineer did not mount within house as it was shared among different customers. Now tikona executives are asking me to raise an FIR. :@






You may have a guess on my frustration that I am spending time to write this long post.


I cant get my money back from tikona but I would suggest you guys not to go for tikona (preferably wireless internet should be avoided).
