My tikona id was 1103917676. I was moving out of country so requested Tikona on 19th May, 2012 for a disconnection through an email. Still, I was continuing to get the bills without adjusted rental for the period of usage.  Each time their reply was "We tried to contact you on the registered mobile number however no one responded." wherever I mentioned each time that my registered number is not working any longer and can be contacted through email or UK number.


In July, they responded that they will send a representative to collect equipments else I have to pay Rs 1500. However, I replied saying that I do not owe any equipment cost as I did not take any WiFi router from Tikona. The reception device was at apartments roof-top which their engineer confirmed earlier that it is not charged to customers. I got a mail from Tikona that the bill is settled and my disconnection request was processed on 23rd June(while I requested on 19th May) but did not send a revised bill. Still, in September bill they are charging termination penalty of Rs. 1500 and are levying late payment fees.


Since, the bill is still incorrect then why is the late payment fees?
